Personal Care involves hands-on assistance for daily living activities while ensuring safety, dignity and comfort. Services are tailored to individual needs. Personal care requires private payment but may be eligible for coverage under your long-term care insurance policy. Below is an overview of the services our compassionate, trained caregivers provide.
Bathing and Hygiene
- Assistance with showering, sponge baths, grooming, oral care, and overall personal hygiene routines.
Dressing and Grooming
- Support with choosing appropriate clothing and getting dressed, including shoes, accessories, and hair care.
Toileting and Incontinence Care
- Discreet and respectful assistance with bathroom needs, incontinence supplies, and hygiene.
Medication Reminders
- Non-clinical reminders to ensure medications are taken as prescribed, at the appropriate times.
Meal Assistance
- Help with eating, cutting food, opening containers, and maintaining proper nutrition.
Mobility
- Assistance with transfers and ambulation to promote increased movement and ensure safety.
